Where we work
Five regions, one standard of care
We cover the Greater Toronto Area. Travel time is the quiet constraint in home care, so we build our teams region by region rather than spreading thin.
Why this matters
Care that arrives on time
A support worker who spends ninety minutes in traffic each way will not last in the role, and will not be there when a family needs an extra hour at short notice. We recruit within each region and match people to clients they can reach reliably. It is an unglamorous operational detail that determines whether care actually turns up.
If you are just outside these boundaries, call anyway. We would rather tell you honestly that we cannot cover you than take a booking we will struggle to honour.
Toronto
Downtown, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke and East York. High-rise and condo buildings bring their own logistics — concierge sign-in, service elevators, restricted parking — and our workers are used to them. Toronto is also the most linguistically diverse part of our coverage, and we match on language wherever we can. Many clients here combine our hours with Wheel-Trans for appointments.
Peel Region
Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon. Peel has one of the largest South Asian communities in Canada, and multigenerational households are common — which changes what families need. Often the request is not full personal care but reliable respite so an adult daughter can keep working. We support families using TransHelp for medical appointments.
York Region
Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Newmarket and Aurora. Large detached homes mean stairs, and stairs are where falls happen — a great deal of our work here is mobility support and safe transfers. York has substantial Chinese and Persian communities, and language-matched care makes a measurable difference to how quickly a client accepts a new worker.
Durham Region
Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Bowmanville. Durham is more spread out than the rest of the GTA, and public transit is thinner, so isolation is a real clinical risk for older adults living alone here. Companionship hours and driving to appointments matter more in Durham than anywhere else we cover.
Halton Region
Oakville, Burlington and Milton. Halton has an older median age than the rest of the GTA, and a high proportion of clients who are managing well but want a small amount of help to stay that way. Short visits, a few times a week, often continue for years — and are frequently the difference between staying at home and not.
Just outside our area?
Call and ask. Depending on the day and the hours you need, we may be able to help, and if we cannot we will usually know who can. We would rather point you somewhere good than take a booking we cannot staff properly.
