Who we support

Two groups, one way of working

Most agencies pick one audience. We work with two, because the method is the same in each case: the same worker each time, doing the minimum necessary, in the person’s own home.

Older adults

Personal care, companionship, respite and specialist dementia and Parkinson’s support, up to 24 hours a day.

Adults with Passport funding

Community participation, caregiver respite and independent living support for adults 18+ with a developmental disability.

Every service we offer across both tracks, and how we decide what a person actually needs. All services

We do not provide housing. We provide the support that makes housing work.

Every hour we deliver happens in someone else’s home, on their terms.

What we are for

Taking the fear out of long term care

Most families arrive frightened — of doing the wrong thing, of the cost, of the conversation they are about to have with a parent. Our first job is to make the situation feel manageable. Everything else follows from that.

A care plan, not a rota

A named case manager writes the plan, briefs the workers and is the person you call when you do not know who to call. How care planning works

Already with an agency?

Transfers are straightforward and we plan the overlap, so there is never a day without cover. Switching to us

Who comes to the door

Screening, training and language matching — because the worker is the whole service. Meet our caregivers

Where we work

Five regions across the GTA

We recruit region by region so workers can reach clients reliably, including at short notice. Travel time is the quiet constraint that decides whether care actually turns up. See all areas we serve

Toronto

Downtown, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke and East York.

Peel

Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon.

York

Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Newmarket and Aurora.

Durham

Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering and Bowmanville.

Halton

Oakville, Burlington and Milton.

Just outside?

Call and ask. If we cannot help, we usually know who can.

Getting started

Three steps, no waitlist

01

You call us

Speak to a person, not a queue. Tell us the situation in your own words. No forms, no assessment, no commitment.

02

We match a worker

We look at need, personality and language, then propose someone specific. You meet them before anything starts.

03

Support begins

We agree goals together and review openly. If something is not working, we change it.

Common questions

Questions we get asked

Do you provide housing or a place to live?

No. We provide support in the home a person already has. We are not a licensed residential provider and we do not arrange accommodation.

Can I use Passport funding to pay for this?

Passport funding can be used to hire support workers and for caregiver respite. Our Passport guide explains what it covers and how to apply.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

No minimum contract. Some families book a few hours a week, others book daily support.

What areas do you cover?

Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. See areas we serve. If you are just outside, call anyway.

How quickly can support start?

There is no waitlist. Timing depends on matching the right worker, which usually takes days rather than weeks.

We already use another agency. Can we move?

Yes, and it is more straightforward than most families expect. See switching to us.

Are your workers screened?

Ask us and we will tell you exactly which checks we run, how recently they were completed, and what insurance we carry. We would rather answer that plainly than list credentials on a webpage. Details are on our caregivers.
