Who we are

A local provider, not a franchise

CA Happy Care provides one-to-one support in people’s own homes across the Greater Toronto Area. We work with two groups: older adults who need help to stay living independently, and young people aged 16 to 24 building the skills to live independently for the first time.

We are reachable 24 hours a day on 647 907 6787, and there is no waitlist. Most families reach us at a difficult moment and do not yet know what they are asking for. That is fine — working out what is actually needed is part of the first conversation, not a prerequisite for it.

What we do

Personal care, daily living assistance, medication reminders, companionship, respite, and specialist dementia and Parkinson’s support for older adults. Independence coaching, education and employment navigation and mentoring for young people.

Where we work

Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. We recruit region by region so that workers can reach clients reliably, including at short notice.

How we are paid

Privately, through insurance benefits, or alongside publicly funded hours arranged through Ontario Health atHome. Many families use private hours to fill the gaps public funding does not cover.

What we are not

Being precise about scope protects clients as much as it protects us. We do not provide housing or residential placements. We are not a licensed children’s residence, a foster care provider or a Children’s Aid Society. We are not a nursing or clinical service, and we do not administer medication — we prompt and support routines.

When a person’s needs move beyond what home support can safely cover, we say so and help the family look at what comes next.
