A support worker talking with an older woman at home

Transfers welcome

Already with an agency? Switching is easier than you think

You do not owe your current provider an explanation, a notice period you did not agree to, or a difficult phone call. We handle the overlap.

Why people move

The reasons are almost always the same four

Nobody changes home care provider because they are bored. In our experience it comes down to a short list, and if you recognise yourself in it, you are not being difficult.

A different worker every week

The single most common reason. Rotating staff means explaining the routine again every visit, and for a client with dementia it can mean daily distress.

Nobody answers the phone

Care happens at 6am and 11pm. An agency reachable only between nine and five is not much use when a worker has not arrived.

Visits that are shorter than billed

Fifteen minutes of a booked hour, week after week. Families notice, and often feel awkward raising it.

Needs changed, the service did not

A client who needed companionship two years ago now needs personal care and transfers, and the agency has not adjusted.

What we ask you

Tell us plainly what went wrong. We would rather hear it than repeat it, and occasionally it tells us we are not the right fit either.

What we will not do

Criticise your previous provider. Home care is hard and staffing is harder. We would rather talk about what happens next.

How a transfer works

No gap in care

01

You call us

Tell us what is in place now, what hours you have, and what is not working. This call costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

02

We plan the overlap

We agree a start date that runs alongside your current arrangement, so there is never a day without cover. You give notice only once we are confirmed.

03

We take the handover

With your consent we collect the current care plan, medication list and routines, so your relative does not have to start from the beginning with strangers.

04

You review at two weeks

A scheduled check-in. If we are not doing better than the last provider, we would rather you told us than quietly moved on again.

Request a call back

Tell us a little about your situation and we will get back to you within two business days.

    Thinking about switching?

A conversation costs nothing. We are reachable 24 hours a day.
